Job Summary

DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our ultrasound technologists in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to our ultrasound technologists, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure that all ultrasound procedures are performed to the highest standards, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage the work of our ultrasound technologists, including scheduling, timekeeping, and performance evaluations.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Ensure that our department is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards, including those set by the American College of Radiology.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices, and share your knowledge with our team to ensure we are always providing the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S), with Abdomen and OB Registry required.
  • Experience: Two or more years of progressively more responsible ultrasound technologist work experience.
  • Skills: Analytical and clinical skills, interpersonal and communication skills, technical knowledge, and ability to work effectively in a complex environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working days, with a shift start time of 7:30 AM and a shift end time of 4:00 PM.
