Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health and wellbeing of our organization, ensuring compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements, and driving innovation in financial processes and revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct all financial accounting and reporting, procedures, and internal controls
  • Prepare financial statements in conformity with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing to third-party payers
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee payroll department and all related processing, reporting, tax filings, etc.
  • Directly manage and authorize significant expenditures, investments, and resource allocations within the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience, including five (5) years in a healthcare organization as well as experience in fiscal services (grants, contracts, billing and collections, bookkeeping, accounting, reporting)
  • Required healthcare knowledge: financial and budgetary practices, cash flow forecasting and management, governmental and health care fiscal regulations and reporting requirements, electronic health records and practice management systems, revenue cycle management mechanics and best practices
