Job Summary

As a Fire Sprinkler Designer at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for designing and laying out sprinkler systems using specialized CAD software. You will work closely with district contracting teams to understand customer contracts, scheduling, and delivery needs. Your expertise will be essential in mentoring others in sprinkler design and assisting sales in design estimations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Design and layout sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and other specialized software.
  • Perform field checks to verify design accuracy.
  • Mentor others in sprinkler design and assist sales in design estimations.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2-4 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MSOffice, and sprinkler design software.
  • NICET III certification preferred.
