Mission
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team, responsible for cultivating relationships, driving revenue, and securing business with small to medium-sized enterprises. This role emphasizes proactive outreach, with a focus on building a pipeline primarily through outbound efforts (80/20). We require a dynamic, organized individual with exceptional communication skills. Your mission will be to identify, source, and close ideal customer prospects, pursuing both inbound and self-sourced leads while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet collective objectives. Your success will be measured by your contribution to Smartcat's industry-leading revenue growth rate of 200–400% annually.
Your Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly ARR targets with clients that have significant translation expenditures.
- Oversee and manage the sales cycle from qualification to closure.
- Regularly meet or exceed monthly KPIs, including pipeline generation, deal velocity, and quota progression.
Qualifications
- Experience in the translation sector or a minimum of 2 years in SaaS sales (preferred), focusing on subscription models.
- Utilize your background to articulate our mission of revolutionizing the global translation landscape.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through outbound sales and territory expansion.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting new business opportunities.
- Strong foundational sales skills and business acumen.
- Navigate complex deals from initial contact to closure in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Engage and consult with inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver software demonstrations to prospects, guiding them through the purchasing process.
- Employ sales automation tools to monitor sales activities.
- Engage with key decision-makers (Directors and VPs).
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions with colleagues, customers, and partners.
- Possess a friendly demeanor and a high tolerance for diverse cultures, fostering positive relationships with users worldwide.
