Position Summary

The Salesforce Product Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders, partners, the CRM team, and IT to spearhead the development and delivery of exceptional products that align with user requirements and business goals, advancing the company's vision. The Product Manager will articulate and communicate the product objectives, prioritize backlog items, and organize the backlog to enhance business value while managing and executing the enterprise digital roadmap to introduce new experiences and features that boost customer satisfaction, user experience, and revenue growth. This role will balance business value and process against technical feasibility by converting business requirements into technical solutions and working with stakeholders to prioritize feature enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the enterprise digital product roadmap, acting as the liaison between the business, CRM development team, and IT for product development for significant projects and/or workstreams through Agile methodologies. Lead the product from the discovery phase to user release, optimizing it at each iteration.
  • Deliver regular reports and updates to executive leadership, covering product scope, timelines, and planning.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize the sprint backlog for the product portfolio across the organization.
  • Facilitate the collection of business requirements to create user stories that correspond to the features and ensure the sprint backlog remains full and prioritized.
  • Oversee the development of user stories from prioritized features, establish acceptance criteria for user stories, approve each user story during the sprint, and ensure that user stories meet the acceptance criteria and are updated in the system.
  • Work with project teams and management to address issues. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities. Take ownership of all escalated issues, risks, and challenges, proactively working to resolve them. Collaborate with other digital and IT teams on joint roadmaps.
  • In partnership with senior leadership, develop a multi-year vision and annual roadmap based on customer feedback, corporate strategy, and data. Provide strategic insights, input, and guidance to executive leadership regarding the plan, roadmap, and vision by understanding the product's impact and business case on customer lifetime value.
  • Act as a consultant for defining business processes related to product portfolio roadmap objectives. Ensure that business processes are established and defined for delivered features, both current and future state.
  • Collaborate with change management, training, and delivery teams to outline customer impact analysis and develop a plan to address it.
  • Partner with leadership to establish product KPIs to measure and drive adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Stay informed about Salesforce product updates and quarterly releases to optimize value offerings by leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities against the product roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, technology, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce in Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, CRMA, and Service Cloud.
  • Salesforce administrator certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, IT, or related role.
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile and software development life cycle.
  • Strong customer orientation skills, with the ability to prioritize customer needs, communicate effectively, and strive to deliver exceptional service, fostering enduring client relationships.
  • Proficient in managing large, complex, and/or multiple projects with tight deadlines and interdependencies, driving alignment and execution across groups in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, plan and drive a product portfolio, and manage sprint backlog across projects and business units.
  • Highly skilled in identifying risks and issues and managing corrective actions.
  • 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
