Job Opportunity

Westchester Country Club is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our members, guests, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all individuals on Club property
  • Conduct routine patrols and monitor surveillance cameras to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
  • Respond to alarms and investigate incidents, including theft, accidents, and policy violations
  • Issue parking summonses and enforce parking regulations
  • Collect and log lost and found items, and facilitate delivery/pick-up of packages
  • Provide first aid assistance and respond to medical emergencies
  • Operate the Security Management computer system and other relevant Club operations systems
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department to identify and rectify safety and fire hazards
  • Conduct thorough investigations and compose incident reports

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field, or relevant experience and/or training
  • Relevant experience in a hotel/hospitality setting is a plus
  • Computer literacy and ability to operate relevant Club operations systems
  • Ability to type clear and concise reports
  • First Aid/CPR/Defibrillator certification
  • Flexibility to meet scheduling needs
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

$20.00-$22.00 hourly compensation, commensurate with experience. Westchester Country Club offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
