The Regional Sales Director will lead the financial services wholesale, retail, lease, and insurance business conducted in the Region. This position requires guiding and coaching district managers to drive performance and achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct day-to-day regional and district-level activities
• Lead the Hyundai Capital America OEM relationship for the assigned region
• Manage and achieve assigned KPIs within the region
• Collaborate with the ROM and GAM roles to achieve objectives
• Lead, coach, and develop regional BDMs in district management
• Collaborate with Hyundai Capital Insurance in all regional insurance business
• Be the lead on all commercial asset management within the region
• Be the lead for training, development, and collaboration in the region
Requirements
• 8+ years of automotive management experience, including managing direct reports and proven dealer leadership
• 5+ years of proven territory management and account acquisition activities
• Captive experience preferred
• Data analysis and reporting skills required
• Proven territory management and account acquisition activities
• Experienced in sustainable account development
• Adept in dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, comprehension, and skill sets
• College degree preferred, but industry-related experience and accreditations will be considered
Work Environment
Employees in this role are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, with vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
