Position Summary: The Vaccine Specialist Representative (VSR) plays a crucial role in achieving sales objectives and fostering relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and clinics. This position is pivotal in driving product demand and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Covid-19 products and related medical discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Medical and Customer Care, to enhance service delivery.
  • Engage with targeted healthcare professionals to facilitate order processing and sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships through effective communication and networking.
  • Utilize clinical and technical expertise to gather valuable customer insights.
  • Adapt to evolving therapeutic areas and business channels while adhering to organizational changes.
  • Leverage customer networks and resources to expand outreach and engagement.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance access and drive product demand.
  • Conduct in-depth informational communications with healthcare professionals in line with client policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions.
  • Manage a targeted list of healthcare professionals to maximize product volume.
  • Ensure productivity metrics are met while optimizing sales call activities.
  • Respond effectively to customer inquiries, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including competitive insights.
  • Complete required training and maintain communication with leadership.
  • Execute sales strategies in compliance with regulatory requirements and client policies.
  • Safeguard patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales or account management.
  • At least 3 years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Previous experience in vaccine sales is essential.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at various levels within an account-based selling framework.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of government programs and immunization schedules is preferred.
  • Pediatric experience is a plus.
  • Experience navigating hospital purchasing processes is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of success in a high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for territory management.
