Position Summary: The Immunization Sales Consultant will be responsible for achieving sales objectives and engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs), hospitals, and clinics within designated territories. This role requires the ability to drive sales through direct interactions and partnerships with group purchasing organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Covid-19 products and related disease areas to facilitate informed discussions with medical professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Medical and Customer Care, to optimize client engagement.
  • Initiate and manage sales processes with targeted HCPs, ensuring effective order fulfillment.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships through effective communication and networking.
  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge and capture valuable insights from customer interactions.
  • Adapt to evolving therapeutic areas and business channels, maintaining flexibility in approach.
  • Utilize customer networks and resources to enhance outreach and engagement.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to increase product demand and access.
  • Conduct promotional communications with healthcare professionals in compliance with established policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions.
  • Manage a targeted list of healthcare professionals to maximize product volume.
  • Ensure productivity metrics are met and optimize daily sales activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries effectively, ensuring alignment with sales objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge, including competitive landscape.
  • Complete all required training and adhere to compliance standards.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding sales strategies and customer feedback.
  • Uphold a positive image of the company and its products in all interactions.
  • Execute sales strategies in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Safeguard patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management.
  • At least 3 years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Previous experience in vaccine sales is essential.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders in a complex sales environment.
  • Strong teamwork orientation.
  • Familiarity with government programs and immunization schedules is preferred.
  • Pediatric sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience navigating hospital purchasing processes is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in a hybrid sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of building relationships.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Documented sales success in a high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for territory management.
