Sanitation Supervisor Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Great Lakes Coca-Cola. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and quality in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the sanitation department, including implementing and maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and train a team of sanitation personnel to ensure they are equipped to meet the demands of a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Develop and implement Sanitation Standard Operational Procedures (SSOP) to ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the production, storage, and distribution of quality products.
  • Conduct safety training and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience and 0-1+ years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma/GED with 5+ years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years of people experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team building and coaching skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding and application of HACCP concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of quality, OSHA, and food safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work 3rd shift and adjust schedule as needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree.
