The Technical Sales Consultant II plays a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction by providing expert product knowledge, effective communication, and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and order status, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Utilize in-depth product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, leveraging industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, shipment tracking, and resolution of customer concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, product updates, and competitor offerings to effectively address customer inquiries.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach, prioritizing empathy and urgency in addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.
  • Utilize technology and tools to perform daily tasks, including answering customer inquiries, recording notes, and processing orders.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or customer service role, preferably within the door hardware and security industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM software or order management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
