Job Title: Inside Sales Engineer

At Virginia Transformer Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting our Outside Sales team by ensuring timely submission of techno-commercially accurate offers, detailing engineering with relevant teams, and ensuring timely booking of Purchase Orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand inquiry documents, listing out techno-commercial observations.
  • Log inquiry internal portal and represent it for further discussions and observation of management and relevant teams.
  • Send client's commercial T&Cs to contracts team for clarification and approval.
  • Prepare bid package and pricing summary for approval of market leaders and ensure timely offer submission to Outside Sales/Authorized Sales Representative.
  • In case of order finalization, prepare engineering package and update internal portals for further discussion with application, project, and plant engineering teams for detail engineering.
  • Send Purchase Order to contracts team for audit and approval.
  • Get the PO converted through relevant teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of inside sales experience in the electrical industry (preferably transformers).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
