Position Summary:
The Safety Coordinator will provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Field Risk Management Department. This role involves organizing safety training sessions, maintaining departmental records, scheduling meetings, and assisting in the compilation of safety reports, tracking metrics, and conducting incident investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate administrative tasks while managing the flow of information.
- Act as a liaison between the department and internal/external stakeholders.
- Handle phone inquiries and direct callers to the appropriate resources.
- Monitor the department's safety email, identifying issues for follow-up and ensuring resolution.
- Utilize Microsoft Office to create communications, reports, charts, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain OSHA Logs for compliance.
- Manage third-party procurement platforms such as ISNetworld and DISA.
- Prepare agendas and minutes for relevant committees.
- Provide confidential support regarding company incidents.
- Create and maintain databases for tracking safety trends and goals.
- Update information on the company intranet related to the Field Risk Management department.
- Document minutes for technical and business meetings.
- Support internal training initiatives.
- Proactively anticipate workload and project needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience and Skills:
- General knowledge of OSHA regulations is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with colleagues and clients.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Oracle products is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with system integrations is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Compliance with drug and alcohol policies and background screening is mandatory.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for security-related matters.
