About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with leadership to update safety-related policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of experience in a safety or compliance role.
  • Preferred certifications include advanced safety coursework or certifications.
  • OSHA 30 and/or OSHA 511 coursework preferred.
  • ASP/CSP certification preferred.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs is a plus.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
