Job Title: Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Specialist to join our team at Lovegreen Industrial Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits and fabrication shop walkarounds to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance to safety standards.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs as required by MNOSHA or customers.
  • Implement and maintain safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with MNOSHA regulations and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate environmental compliance, including all monitoring, programs, and policies.
  • Manage occupational health and safety compliance, including all monitoring, programs, and policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences and or equivalent work experience, focused in construction safety.
  • CHST or equivalent construction related certification.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and general industry safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to train and be safety SME that other employees seek out.
