Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team at Father Purcell Memorial Exceptional Children's Center. As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition for new residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admitting New Residents: Coordinate the admission process, ensuring all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting Physicians: Collaborate with physicians during rounds, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Assigning Duties: Delegate tasks to non-licensed nursing staff, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Monitoring Resident Care: Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and mental health, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary interventions.
  • Communication: Explain procedures and treatment protocols to residents and their families, promoting transparency and understanding.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • License/Certification: Current nursing license (Preferred), LPN (Required), BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Montgomery, AL 36108 before starting work
