  • Collaborate with RN: Work cooperatively with our Registered Nurse to identify students with special health care needs, assess their current health status, and develop and implement individualized health care plans.
  • Document Nursing Activities: Accurately and thoroughly document all nursing activities, adhering to established guidelines.
  • Perform Physical Demands: Regularly perform tasks that require stooping, bending, twisting, turning, and reaching, as well as possess adequate strength, dexterity, and agility to perform all assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, license as an LPN in Alabama, and current CPR Certification are required.
  • Desirable Qualities: Experience working with school-age children is highly desirable, and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff is essential.
