Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to enhance our inpatient psychiatric services. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents facing various challenges.

Practice Environment:

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
  • Engage in a modern clinical setting designed to promote therapeutic interactions.
  • Provide care in both General and Intensive Treatment units, managing an average of 8 to 9 patient encounters daily.
  • Opportunities available for teaching and mentoring residents.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time position with a commitment of 1.0 FTE.
  • No weeknight on-call responsibilities.
  • Participate in on-call duties one Saturday per month.

Collaborative Care Model:

Our providers work in conjunction with various healthcare facilities to deliver comprehensive care. This collaboration ensures access to a wide range of behavioral health services, including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and specialized programs for youth.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited ACGME psychiatry residency and child/adolescent fellowship.
  • Board Certified or Board Prepared status with the relevant medical boards.
  • Possession or eligibility for Maryland medical licensure.
  • Ability to maintain DEA certification.
  • Meet the necessary criteria for credentialing and privileges.
