Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to enhance our inpatient psychiatric services. This role is vital in providing comprehensive mental health care to children and adolescents.
Practice Environment:
- Work within a collaborative team of mental health professionals, including Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and Psychiatric Nurses.
- Engage in a modern healthcare setting designed for therapeutic interventions.
- Manage a diverse patient population with an average of 8 to 9 inpatient encounters daily.
- Opportunities for teaching and mentoring residents are available.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with a 1.0 FTE commitment.
- No weeknight on-call responsibilities.
- Weekend on-call duties once a month.

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency and child/adolescent fellowship.

- DEA certification for prescribing in Maryland.
