Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, overhaul, and repair vehicles and machinery; execute significant engine and transmission repairs and replacements, along with electrical diagnostics.


Conduct extensive electrical repairs (including electronic controls), minor welding tasks, engine and transmission overhauls, and maintain equipment and plant operations.


Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and machinery.


Handle major road calls and execute field repairs.


Ensure scales are calibrated and certified in accordance with state regulations.


Maintain safe operation and secure handling of equipment.


Keep tools in good condition to effectively perform job duties.


Promote a safe and healthy work environment at all times.



Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient understanding of diesel engines, transmissions, electronics, and familiarity with related components.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: 3 years of journeyman experience and/or a 2-year diesel mechanic certificate.
Valid CDL and a clean driving record are preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to work between 10 am and 8 pm.
Documentation proving eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
Commitment to safety and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
