Job Title: Commercial Field Service Technician

General Parts Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional and timely service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose equipment failures and order replacement parts as needed.
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
  • Partner with customers to provide service solutions for their cooking equipment.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
  • Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified.
  • CFESA Certification is a plus.
  • Must be highly safety conscious.
  • Excellent organizational skills, motivated, and able to follow through on duties and assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning for most of the workday.
  • Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.
