About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in providing financial and accounting support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, including supervision and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Assist in the facilitation of the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, financial statements, and financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and management team to prepare annual budgets and periodic forecast updates.
  • Work closely with business unit leaders to understand financial needs, provide insights, and support strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of four years of accounting experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and expertise in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
  • Public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a positive and can-do attitude.
