As a Middle School Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with significant emotional and behavioral disorders.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with Department of Education regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for teaching academic courses, conducting educational assessments, and providing behavioral support to students.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain accurate records of student progress, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and attend training programs as required.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Teaching or Education
* Experience working with children who have behavioral or emotional disabilities
* Rhode Island Teaching certificate in K-12

* Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required
