Job Purpose & Scope:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth within the Community Association industry in assigned territories. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and retaining business relationships with clients, while maintaining a keen awareness of risk and a client-focused perspective.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Schedule and conduct calls with existing clients and prospects to develop new Association Services business and maintain existing relationships.
  2. Prepare and present account analysis reviews and Association Services presentations as needed.
  3. Collaborate with client managers and other business partners to review key relationships and explore new opportunities.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key clients.
  5. Engage with clients through personal calling efforts, referrals, and other contacts to discuss business needs and recommend solutions.
  6. Stay informed about local competition and market pricing for Association Services.
  7. Share knowledge as a subject matter expert and mentor others on the team.
  8. Review new product and product enhancement information with internal business partners as needed.
  9. Maintain awareness of trends and new developments in the field of association services management through attendance at trade shows and related seminars.
  10. Analyze, evaluate, and mitigate operational, regulatory, credit, and reputational risk.
  11. Maintain knowledge and understanding of clients' businesses and their specific needs.
  12. Exercise discretion and judgment in the performance of essential job functions.
  13. Maintain good attendance and punctuality to work.
  14. Follow Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  1. Knowledge of the Community Association industry from a practitioner's and/or banker's perspective.
  2. Knowledge of selling and closing techniques.
  3. Ability to interact with all levels of staff in a client environment.
  4. Ability to share knowledge and experience with others in a manner that is easily understood and processed.
  5. Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
  6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with deadlines and minimal supervision.
  7. Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  8. Ability to demonstrate understanding of economic, financial, industry, and organizational data.
  9. Ability to prepare and create routine reports and correspondence.
  10. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  11. Ability to communicate effectively with groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  12. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  13. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  14. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  15. Ability to produce detailed, accurate, thorough, and timely work.
  16. Ability to demonstrate effective business development skills.
  17. Ability to establish and fulfill customer commitments in a timely manner.
  18. Ability to work within a team or one-on-one sales environment.
  19. Ability to travel for business purposes, as needed.
  20. Skill in using computer, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor degree in business or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
  2. 3+ years business development experience, required.
  3. 1+ years of work experience in community association products, required.
