Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Call Center Representative to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing phone and message inquiries from patients and their care partners, navigating complex healthcare systems, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage phone and message inquiries from patients and their care partners, including needs related to insurance, billing, and appointment management.
  • Navigate or learn all things healthcare, including medical records, authorizations, referrals, and coordinating care among care partners.
  • Collaborate with providers and operations team members to complete urgent tasks.
  • Use C-I-CARE principles in all patient interactions to ensure a positive virtual experience.
  • Master our technology suite, including Slack, Google Suite, Zoom, and Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, to interact with team members and patients.
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and participating in problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of high-volume contact center experience and 1 additional year of direct customer service experience.
  • OR 2 years of high-touch, patient-facing healthcare service roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including impeccable phone manner.
  • Strong multitasking skills with proficiency in computers and phones while navigating multiple software systems.
