We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our RF Sensors Electronics Support team, you will be responsible for defining and specifying the next generation of EW sensors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain system requirements and architecture using model-based systems engineering tools.
- Work with electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands) and collaborate with sensor providers/suppliers.
- Define, specify, trace, and model requirements for EW sensors.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to develop and implement system solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 9 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 7 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 4 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering.
- Active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years).
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR).
- Ability to travel 0-25%.
- Experience with Electronics Warfare subsystem OR Experience with RF design.
- 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD.
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Experience with Cameo, DOORs, Rhapsody, writing requirements, and tracing requirements through various levels.
- Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands).
- Knowledge of DoDAF and system scenarios.
