About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Summit Health, Inc. in Richmond, TX. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive and episodic health history and physical assessments of patients/families with acute, chronic, and/or potential health problems.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose and treat illnesses, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduate and certified from an accredited advanced practice program.
  • Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
  • Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure.
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
  • Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
