As a Delivery Professional, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. You will be accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load customer orders properly on the truck to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner
- Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers
- Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License, a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed medical examiner, and be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. You must also be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, as is experience working as a delivery driver and using material handling equipment.
Salary Range:
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range is based on national averages for delivery professionals in the United States.
