Sofive is a rapidly growing startup that is developing state-of-the-art soccer centers - modern sport complexes with small-sided soccer fields. We have 13 sites to date, with many more in the pipeline.

Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire facility and supervising the staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations and ensure smooth and efficient operational procedures enabling Sofive Soccer Centers to provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Manage and lead the center's team: hire if needed, train, and supervise all center employees, including but not limited to Assistant Managers, Duty Managers, and a team of part-time Sports Associates and Service Representatives.
  • Participate in sales and marketing efforts required to develop our soccer programs.
  • Lead weekly management and staff meetings to ensure effective communication.
  • Manage and supervise multiple aspects of inventory control, budget and KPI monitoring, daily bank deposits, shift coverage, and general center maintenance.
  • Ensure implementation of proper company policies and procedures and play a key role in developing company policies and procedures to improve Sofive Soccer Centers' standards of service.
  • Manage payroll and supply expenses to stay within budget.
  • Organize daily facility reviews to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications:
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the soccer industry.
  • Proven leadership ability in soccer organizations with 5+ years of management experience.
  • Must be assertive, enthusiastic, energetic, and punctual.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to build rapport with customers, team captains, part-time staff, vendors, and Sofive Soccer Centers' corporate staff.
  • Ability to deliver a high level of customer service, and to plan and organize the work necessary to run a successful center.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
