Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for presenting and demonstrating new products to customers, as well as maintaining customer programs, credits, and core returns.
  • Present pricing and product change updates, obtain catalogs and distribute price sheets to customers.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts to expand our customer base.
  • Resolve customer issues and/or problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Organize customer clinics as required to educate customers on new products and services.
  • Attend regular sales meetings and training seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Monitor customer account balances and collect monies owed.
  • Maintain accurate customer sales records.
  • Meet all criteria and policies as set forth in the Company Employee Handbook, Driver's Handbook, and Fleet Safety Policy.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of continuous progressive sales growth.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report must be obtained by the applicant and submitted for approval prior to hiring date and satisfactory MVR must be maintained.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • A professional working attitude and be customer service oriented.
  • Ability to use resourcefulness and tact in meeting new problems.
  • Ability to maintain customer and co-workers relationships in a positive/professional manner.
  • Ability to assemble/organize/maintain sales data.
  • Ability to analyze, understand, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Able to communicate both orally and in writing in English, and follow complex oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient computer skills preferred.
  • Use appropriate phone skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work varied hours to obtain goals and vision of Company and position.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule that would allow you to work an assortment of days, evenings, and/or weekends (as needed) designed to provide quality service, while successfully growing the business with profitability and integrity.
