Job Summary

The Production Manager position at Oldcastle APG is a key role that requires leadership and strategic thinking to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing operations. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency, while meeting customer demands and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure high performance and productivity
  • Monitor and control production costs, inventory levels, and quality standards to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and improve processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging Lean principles and other best practices to drive efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Proven track record of leadership, team management, and process improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
