Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain cost estimates for programs, including engineering and manufacturing development, production, and sustainment phases.
* Analyze and assess program costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost-saving initiatives.
* Provide cost analysis and estimation support for program management and decision-making.
* Develop and maintain cost models and databases to support cost estimation and analysis.
* Conduct cost-benefit analyses and provide recommendations to management.

Requirements:

* Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field, such as cost engineering, economics, or finance.
* 12 years of experience in cost analysis, estimation, or a related field, with 5 years of experience in the DoD.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with cost estimation tools and software, such as PRICE or Oracle Crystal Ball.
* Strong understanding of cost analysis principles, methods, and best practices.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT).
* Familiarity with Air Force cost analysis policies and procedures.
* Strong understanding of cost-benefit analysis and decision-making.
