Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the selection of materials, building systems, and equipment; manage procurement, distribution, and return of all project-related materials and tools; maintain controls to monitor and assess cost-to-estimate for completed work; identify and report variances; forecast project costs and margins.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and manage field personnel, including conducting on-site meetings and thorough jobsite surveys.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records in accordance with company standards, including daily logs and monthly owner reports; verify and expedite all invoicing related to the project; investigate and resolve overdue accounts receivable.
  • Monitor and manage all expenses incurred throughout the project; assess site conditions, improvements, constructability, and availability of labor and materials.
  • Submit permit applications and inspection requests; handle submittals of shop drawings, samples, cut sheets, and as-built documents.
  • Utilize various document management software, such as Bluebeam, to organize and track project documentation (e.g., drawings, change orders, correspondence, RFIs, etc.).
  • Address and resolve client complaints and concerns, including personal meetings as necessary.
  • Assist in upholding project site safety standards; participate in routine safety meetings and walkthroughs, and occasionally support jobsite safety investigations.
  • Estimate base projects and change orders; recommend value-engineering solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Systems Design, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Project Management within the AEC industry.
