We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Supervisor Grocery to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Customer Service team in the Grocery Department and ensuring exceptional customer service to our valued customers.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will work closely with the Center Store (Grocery) Manager to train, schedule, and maintain a qualified stock crew, ensuring achievement of productivity goals and maintaining a clean and neat appearance within the department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment, promoting a culture of excellent customer service and teamwork
- Lead the Customer Service team in the Grocery Department, ensuring exceptional customer service to our valued customers
- Assist the Center Store (Grocery) Manager in training, scheduling, and maintaining a qualified stock crew
- Ensure achievement of productivity goals of the stock crew
- Stock product in accordance with policies and guidelines
- Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves
- Maintain shelf allocations as indicated by the item tags
- Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with policies and guidelines
- Understand and use company tools such as; average cost inventory system (ACIS) and ordering (CAO)
- Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies, and standard practice
- Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures
- Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents
- Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Wear the Food Lion uniform, complete with name badge, when on duty, has a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code
- Successfully complete Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packet, and Training Aid courses
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
