Job Summary

Clayton Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support the effective and efficient operations of our human resource department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain HR Files and Records: Ensure that all human resource files and records are accurate, up-to-date, and confidential.
  • Provide Administrative Support: Offer clerical support to the HR department, including answering frequently asked questions, processing payroll, and distributing checks.
  • Coordinate Events: Assist with planning and execution of special events, such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Communicate with External Providers: Act as a liaison between our organization and external benefits providers and vendors.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation: Conduct or assist with new hire orientation to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in a related field is required.
  • Experience: Prior related office experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
What We Offer
