Job Summary

The Registered Nurse II provides high-quality patient care to adults undergoing bone marrow transplants, CAR-T cell therapy, and malignant hematology treatments. This role requires a strong understanding of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized patient care to families and patients at the competent level.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
