Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator II to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our Information Services Organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our data network infrastructure, including WAN/LAN/wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in data network maintenance and support, including all networking systems, WAN/LAN/wireless infrastructure, and network hardware.
  • Perform maintenance procedures on networking hardware, cabling, operating systems, and infrastructure.
  • Remain current on developments in telecommunications and networking technology.
  • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions to all levels of users.
  • Support the business goals and objectives for the Department, the Information Services Organization, and the organization as a whole.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relative field or 2 years equivalent experience.
  • Two years of hands-on implementation and troubleshooting experience in LAN/WAN environments.
  • Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and deploy WAN circuits using PTP, ASE, MPLS, etc.
  • Knowledge of monitoring products, with Solarwinds being preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills and ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CCNA certification.
  • Experience working with Cisco and/or Aruba wired and wireless products.
  • Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and IPAM technologies.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel regularly within the area of responsibility.
