Position Overview:
At SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, we are dedicated to the well-being of animals and the creation of unforgettable experiences for our guests. We are currently seeking a passionate and committed individual to oversee our entertainment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Entertainment Operations Supervisor, you will:

  • Manage the daily functions of your assigned team, including developing schedules, resolving issues, coaching staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, such as training logs, maintenance records, and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team growth.
  • Foster a positive work environment by exemplifying our company’s values and standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training programs and safety protocols.
  • Create and manage project lists for various tasks and areas of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with the Entertainment Productions team to ensure the effective installation and maintenance of technical elements for shows and events.
  • Ensure that all work areas are adequately stocked and staffed to meet operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid state driver's license.
  • A minimum age of 21 years.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in technical theater or a related field is preferred.
  • At least two years of leadership experience within the entertainment sector.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to guide and collaborate with teams.
  • Skills in training and coaching team members on technical competencies.
  • Experience with technical entertainment equipment, including installation and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Knowledge of electronics and systems integration is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires:

  • The ability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds safely.
  • Extensive walking and standing throughout the work shift, with the capacity to work at heights.
  • Flexibility to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Comfort with exposure to noise and vibrations.
