Job Title: Telecom and Technical Services Co-op

Georgia System Operations Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Student to join our Telecom and Technical Services team. As a Co-op Student, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the utility industry while working on innovative telecommunications projects.

Job Summary

This exciting role offers you a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals dedicated to excellence and customer-centric solutions. You will be part of a vibrant company culture that values problem-solving, integrity, and high performance.

Responsibilities
  • Support and learn from our associates with decades of combined industry knowledge.
  • Participate in up to 3 rotations beginning as early as Spring 2025.
  • Refine your current skills and discover new ones while gaining valuable insights and experience in a professional environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop hands-on experience with common technology used in a professional business setting.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university with a minimum 2.8 GPA in one of the following areas of study: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Accepted in the college or university's formal Co-op program.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Expanding technology skills commensurate with your current education level.
  • Ability to work in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
