Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Advocate Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and gathering pertinent health information.
- Monitor and complete clinical integration and quality improvement measures.
- Perform laboratory procedures and assist with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy scratch testing.
- Administer routine medications under physician orders.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification.
- Ability to perform routine and complex technical skills within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
