Position: Certified Respiratory Care Specialist

About the Role

As a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing patients with respiratory issues. Your duties will encompass administering therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress, and providing education to patients and their families regarding respiratory health.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assess and diagnose patients experiencing respiratory complications to formulate effective treatment strategies.
2. Deliver respiratory therapies and interventions, including but not limited to oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments.
3. Continuously monitor patients' respiratory conditions, vital signs, and therapeutic responses, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment options, and self-management techniques.
5. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to design and execute comprehensive care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications may be necessary.
- A minimum of two years of recent experience in respiratory therapy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing patient needs.
