Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Supervisor to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a key member of our Respiratory Care department, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, personnel management, and clinical expertise in the pediatric areas of the hospital, including the NICU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate team efforts to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner, adhering to recognized standards.
  • Manage daily operations, including personnel management and clinical expertise, in the pediatric areas of the hospital.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide guidance and support to respiratory therapists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • National Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or National Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • 5 years of recent experience in Respiratory Care, with 2 years in NICU or PICU.
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
  • 2 years of previous supervisory experience in Respiratory Care.
