Job Overview

Become a key player in our team as the Retail Operations Supervisor at Furniture Mart USA.

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the retail outlet, ensuring compliance with Furniture Mart USA's standards in various areas, including:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Driving sales performance and enhancing profitability.
  • Maintaining operational excellence.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service and assisting shoppers throughout their journey.
  • Achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Mentoring and developing sales personnel.

This is a Full-Time position (40 hours per week), which includes evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a retail sales environment with increasing responsibilities and a solid understanding of retail operations.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and train others effectively, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of merchandising practices.
  • Ability to address various customer service challenges with objectivity.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

PREFERENCES:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a retail or fast-paced customer service setting.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
