Compensation: $16.00-$30.00 per hour plus additional incentives and bonuses.

As an Assistant Store Manager at Car-X Tire & Auto, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our service center, ensuring the effective, efficient, and safe management of our service bays. This position serves as an excellent entry point into a rewarding career at Car-X. From day one, you will engage in a comprehensive management training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary for success in your new role and future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on operational strategies and personnel decisions, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Assist automotive technicians in fostering a productive sales environment by training and mentoring team members on all service operations and customer interactions.
  • Help manage employee schedules, oversee timekeeping, and allocate tasks to Lube and Tire technicians.
  • Step in to perform automotive technician duties as required.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on tools, parts, and repair techniques.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive service and sales.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Physical ability to work with hands overhead, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills and basic mathematical abilities for calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • A focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
