Position Summary:
The Key Carrier Coordinator role is a vital extension of the Coordinator position, where you will primarily function as a Coordinator while occasionally stepping into a leadership role as a Key Carrier. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Foster a culture of integrity and confidentiality within the team.
- Act as the Manager on Duty, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Guide the store team in executing tasks according to the operational plan, adjusting priorities as necessary.
- Address customer service concerns promptly and provide coaching to team members.
- Utilize discretion in applying customer service policies to meet customer needs.
- Maintain appropriate Associate coverage to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all operational procedures by Associates.
- Oversee the execution of opening and closing procedures in line with company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
- Encourage and accept feedback, fostering a culture of recognition.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates to enhance their effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Promote credit and loyalty initiatives.
- Support shrink reduction efforts and safety awareness in the workplace.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
- Adaptability to changes in direction and unexpected situations.
- Familiarity with company software, systems, and procedures.
- Understanding of merchandise flow within retail environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to respond swiftly in challenging circumstances.
- Proficient in multitasking.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with at least 6 months in a leadership capacity.
