Position Summary:

The Key Carrier Coordinator role is a vital extension of the Coordinator position, where you will primarily function as a Coordinator while occasionally stepping into a leadership role as a Key Carrier. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and confidentiality within the team.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Guide the store team in executing tasks according to the operational plan, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Address customer service concerns promptly and provide coaching to team members.
  • Utilize discretion in applying customer service policies to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain appropriate Associate coverage to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures by Associates.
  • Oversee the execution of opening and closing procedures in line with company guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with management and Associates regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Encourage and accept feedback, fostering a culture of recognition.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Promote credit and loyalty initiatives.
  • Support shrink reduction efforts and safety awareness in the workplace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
  • Adaptability to changes in direction and unexpected situations.
  • Familiarity with company software, systems, and procedures.
  • Understanding of merchandise flow within retail environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to coach, delegate, and follow up on multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to respond swiftly in challenging circumstances.
  • Proficient in multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with at least 6 months in a leadership capacity.
