As a cybersecurity professional, your responsibility will be to safeguard our clients' most sensitive information and complex systems against various threats, including cyber-attacks, insider risks, rogue devices, and malicious software. Collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals, you will share and refine ideas to enhance the cybersecurity framework, architecture, and deployment configurations. Your contributions will be valued.

This position is contingent upon customer approval.

Responsibilities

SkyePoint Decisions is in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst for a contract role. This presents an excellent opportunity to engage with a long-standing contract.

This position entails a hybrid work schedule.

  • Execute functional and/or integration testing across multiple applications in an IBM mainframe or client/server environment.
  • Support the tax processing pipeline and master file systems.
  • Utilize developed documentation to create test cases with defined outcomes and test data to validate program functionality and/or interfaces.
  • Analyze output to assess whether test results meet established criteria, and if necessary, communicate any discrepancies to the responsible developers.
  • Coordinate testing activities with project stakeholders.
  • Manage work assignments to ensure the timely and accurate completion of testing.
  • Provide insights on the required testing effort for Unified Work Requests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of relevant IT and software testing experience; or a Master's degree or PhD with 2 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain IRS Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI) Public Trust.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IBM Mainframe and Unisys Mainframe DB2.
  • Familiarity with Informatica Business Objects.
  • Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications is advantageous.
  • Experience with Amazon Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in Eclipse Java EE for Web Developers.
  • Understanding of automation features for Cloud programs.
  • Experience with TOAD.
  • Familiarity with Rational CLM tools (Quality Manager, Team Concert, Doors Next Generation).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Visio).
  • Experience with CTRL-M (server).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Pro.
  • Experience with SecureCRT and SecureFx.
  • Knowledge of IBM Mainframe (TSO and JCL).
  • Experience with Java Batch (SpringBatch).

Compensation:

Salary Range: $76,000 - $93,000. This range serves as a general guideline and reflects an estimated range for this position, forming part of our total compensation package.

Salary determination considers various factors, including location, work schedule, the candidate's education, skills, experience, and contract-specific affordability.
