Position Overview: The Senior Fundraising Writer will possess exceptional storytelling abilities, skills in offer development, case-for-giving, and crafting compelling calls-to-action.
This role requires a minimum of ten years of experience in writing direct mail and integrated fundraising campaigns, with at least five years in an agency or similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and Art Directors to generate innovative concepts for direct mail and multi-channel campaigns for our nonprofit clients.
• Produce clear, concise, and persuasive direct mail and digital fundraising copy.
• Work closely with account team partners to accurately represent client programs and objectives to donors and prospects.
• Enhance writing resources through internet research and interviews as necessary.
• Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume agency setting.
• Provide support to fellow writers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Writing samples or access to a portfolio of work is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or Liberal Arts is preferred.
• Ability to create realistic composite or representative stories that authentically reflect the client's mission.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
