Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Analyst/Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience managing an enterprise-wide cost accounting program in a federal government agency and will possess certifications such as Certified Cost Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Certified Public Accountant.

  • Develop and maintain cost accounting analysis reports, views, and graphs to support management business decisions.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide cost accounting system at a federal customer site that uses Oracle EBS as a source system, including the Projects Accounting Module.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely cost accounting data.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in cost accounting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least three (3) successful engagements advising on and applying activity-based cost accounting principles.
  • Experience with OBIEE and/or PeopleSoft or HRLinks Time and Attendance System.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
