Job Summary

The Program Manager of Revenue Cycle Training is responsible for developing, operationalizing, and maintaining successful education programs for all of Grady's Revenue Cycle processes. This includes registration, pre-registration, call center operations, patient access, financial clearance, financial counseling, health information management, revenue integrity, patient financial services, professional billing, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead revenue cycle training initiatives and monitor quality and performance metrics
  • Design and develop instructional material for instructor-led and online training and development
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and revision of an organization-wide training calendar
  • Create and update training materials tailored towards successfully onboarding new staff and enhancing the practice of current staff
  • Document orientation assessment to ensure staff are ready to work independently in their host department or practice
  • Perform systematic follow-up procedures with all new hires in the department
  • Provide both classroom hands-on training, on-line training and tip sheets when needed for staff
  • Use a competency-based program to onboard new staff
  • Coordinate training for revenue cycle functional areas
  • Implement an orientation program for all new staff within the Revenue Cycle Division
  • Manage training team to develop, manage and deliver training
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) or more years revenue cycle or training experience
  • High level of experience in adult education/training in the healthcare industry and the use of Adobe Captivate or other on-line training creation
  • Understanding of technical instructional design techniques and technology for instructor-led and online course development
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills required to develop and conduct educational programs, presentations, communicate with interdisciplinary teams and practice leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • End user training experience in EPIC or other clinical/business operations information system
  • Experience in project management to drive system enhancement and end use adoption
  • Professional Certification in Adult Learning or Equivalent Certification
