Overview:

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and sales of Support Services within a designated region. This role involves collaborating with the existing sales team to enhance awareness, training, and pipeline development while promoting both direct and indirect sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for the assigned territory, focusing on measurable growth of Support Services.
  • Oversee and mentor the Sales Enablement team, ensuring effective training and development.
  • Collaborate with field sales to enhance skills and training related to Support Services.
  • Lead demand generation initiatives for Support Services in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Work with sales and service leadership to assess and prioritize sales activities within current accounts to optimize growth.
  • Develop marketing strategies and recommend tactics to support demand generation efforts.
  • Ensure ongoing training and development for sales and support staff related to Support Services.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for Support Services sales in the assigned regions.
  • Achieve or surpass financial objectives for Support Services.
  • Share best practices with peers across markets to enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • Identify and target dormant accounts to stimulate new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Support team to qualify potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Experience in selling staffing-based or support services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Able to thrive in a matrix-managed environment.
  • Proven ability to utilize subject matter experts to advance the sales process.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Staffing Service solutions with a focus on business development; sales experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in selling solutions to IT management.
  • Sales leadership experience is preferred.
